The Microsoft SQL DBA will be responsible for the implementation, configuration, maintenance, and performance of critical MS SQL Server systems, to ensure the availability and consistent performance of corporate applications. This is a “hands-on” position requiring solid technical skills, as well as excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the development and sustainment of the SQL Server Warehouse, ensuring its operational readiness (security, health and performance), executing data loads, and performing data modeling in support of multiple development teams. The data warehouse supports an enterprise application suite of program management tools. Must be capable of working independently and collaboratively.
Requisitos
- Minimum of 5+ years of directly related experience in MS SQL Server Administration.
- MCTS, MCITP, and/or MVP certifications a plus.
- Experience with Performance Tuning and Optimization (PTO), using native monitoring and troubleshooting tools.
- Experience with backups, restores and recovery models.
- Knowledge of High Availability (HA) and Disaster Recovery (DR) options for SQL Server 2019.
- Experience working with Windows server, including Active Directory.
- Requires the ability to effectively deal with ambiguity and creatively develop processes to aid efficiency and effectiveness.
- Must have initiative, be resourceful, able to work independently without a lot of guidance.
- Must be able to effectively prioritize, manage time and projects, and multi-task in a fast paced, growing company environment.
- Requires fluency in English with good verbal and written skills.
- Must be able to effectively collaborate with all levels of management and staff in a diverse, global environment.
- Must be proficient in the MS Office Suite of software.
